Located in a rural part of Alabama with large hills and thick forests. Tree-lined fairways add to the ambiance and also make driving accuracy a must. Greens rolled true and were fairly challenging without using the buried elephant approach to green design. It's an 80-mile drive from my front door to the course, but I'm happy to make the trip at least twice a year, especially when I can take advantage of one of the online good deals they frequently post on their website.

This is the best course you will ever play for $100 or less. PERIOD. Perfect conditioning. Stunning views. There are 4 or 5 holes that could be the signature hole on ANY COURSE. Variety of holes. Great risk/reward par 5s. I have played 78 courses, and this is number 1 without question.

Beautiful layout and setting; fairways are generous; greens are quick and roll great; I've played most of the courses on the RTJ Trail and this is course is as good or better than those.

Played in GCAM tour event and course not kept up to PAR. Will not play in this event if held here next year. Greens were horrible to be bent grass. The fairways had no cushion under them.
